Thanks to the internet building residual income is easier than
ever before. What is residual income?

Residual is defined as the quantity left over at the end of a
process; a remainder.

Income is defined as the amount of money or its equivalent
received during a period of time in exchange for labor or
services, from the sale of goods or property, or as profit from
financial investments.

A simple combined definition as it relates to making money
online might be to get paid over and over for your original
efforts another way.

Here's one way you could do that online.

Let's say you create an info product around the theme of making
money online and you package it as an ebook and sell it for $47.
What you could do is sell a subscription to your online
newsletter for $9.95 a month. You make income for selling your
book, but you build residual income by getting subscribers to
your newsletter.

You could package your ebook and newsletter subscription
together. Basically do not charge for your ebook about making
money with the idea that you will make your money on the
subscription to your newsletter.

hire writers for you content. This is a great way to build
residual income because you do the front end work of selling
your product and getting subscribers and make your profit on the
difference between what you collect and what you pay out on the
back end to produce it.

Another way building residual income can work for you is to
recruit affiliates to sell products for you. Affiliate marketing
is great because you make money selling other companies products
and they collect the money and ship out the products. Often
these sales are made on 2 levels. Yours and the sales by the
affiliates you recruit.
